Our History

A Rich Heritage

Moldova has been home to Jewish communities for centuries. At its peak in the early 20th century, Jews comprised over 10% of the population, contributing immeasurably to the country's culture, commerce, and intellectual life.

Despite the devastating impact of the Holocaust and decades of Soviet repression, the Jewish community in Moldova has persevered. Today, we honor the memory of those we lost by supporting those who remain and preserving our shared heritage for future generations.

Our organization serves as a bridge between the global Jewish community and our brothers and sisters in Moldova, ensuring they know they are not forgotten.
