Before Passover, Jewish law prohibits owning or using chametz. Instead of throwing away your food, you can simply sell it — this is easily done by completing a chametz sale authorization.
Rabbi Eliyahu Freidkin will act on your behalf and sell your chametz to a non-Jew for the duration of the holiday. After Passover, ownership is transferred back to you.
