About
What Drives Us
Every day, a minyan gathers in the community - the morning Shacharit prayer and the evening Maariv. A quorum of ten is always there, and often fifteen or even twenty come. On Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays we read from the Torah - the community has its own scroll.
Prayer goes on all year round, with no days off. This is the heart of community life: people come to pray, to meet fellow believers, and to begin and end the day together.
Your donation helps sustain the minyan: we buy prayer books (siddurim), add to the community library, and maintain the prayer room. For those who have none of their own, from time to time we give tzitzit, tallitot and tefillin.
