What Drives Us

The Women's Club is the women's part of our community, open to all women (mainly aged 18 and up). We meet once a week: we listen to lectures on topics that matter especially to women, as well as general-interest ones, share a meal at a common table, and exchange experiences, advice and stories. The lectures are given by rabbis, and often by the participants themselves - each one shares what she knows.

About once a month we hold workshops and Hafrashat Challah - together we knead the dough for challah and separate a portion with a blessing, fulfilling a mitzvah. These are warm gatherings where it is easy to find friends and feel part of the community.

Your donation helps us set the table at our meetings, buy materials for the workshops, and hold Hafrashat Challah. A single such event uses 10-12 kg of flour and several liters of olive oil - and your donation can give women the chance to fulfill this mitzvah.
