About
What Drives Us
Young & Jew is an interactive club for Jewish young people aged 18 to 35, where learning meets socializing. Once a week we gather for lectures on Jewish roots and tradition - the same topics as in Torah lessons - and around this a real social scene forms: new friends, trips, and lively company.
Our goal is to give young Jews both a great crowd and clear knowledge about themselves: to help them find friends, build families, and take pride in their tradition. The program includes lectures, events, and trips - most often Shabbatons. We meet every Sunday in the city center.
Your donation covers stipends for participants, trips and Shabbatons, a good kosher dinner at the meetings, and study materials. For many, the club has become their doorway into the community: its members are now regulars at Shabbat meals, the morning minyan, and the women's gatherings.
