What Drives Us
Young & Jew Teens is a club for Jewish teens ages 12 to 18. Unlike the adult meetings, where everything is built around lectures, for teens it all happens in a playful, fun format: every meeting is put together from blocks - activities, games, and a learning part about Jewish tradition woven into them.
We get together every Sunday in the city center, and every fourth Sunday we throw a fun outing - bowling, movies, and other entertainment. A special point of pride - our Shabbatons and trips, including abroad: our teens have been to the USA and Budapest.
Your donation covers preparing materials for the meetings, treats, birthday and holiday gifts, fun outings and trips, and the coordinators' work. The result shows best in the teens themselves: many who started out as participants have now become club coordinators.
